American Lung Association Call Center

The Lung HelpLine provides residents of NC access to immediate, clear, and accurate lung health information and stop smoking assistance.

Respiratory Therapists and Registered Nurses who can provide information on lung cancer, emphysema, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma, allergies, and environmental health staff the Lung Health Line.

The Lung HelpLine also provides personalized smoking cessation assistance from qualified quit-smoking specialists.

Lung health information is available in 72 different languages.

The Lung HelpLine is available Monday through Friday; 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Voice options are available after hours.
