Lung Disease Support & Information

You are invited to join a Better Breather Club, a support group for people with respiratory disease and their families. Clubs are free to the public and friends, family members and care givers. The forums address issues that patients face after diagnosis. Topics include medications, the care, use and cleaning of devices used for breathing, use of oxygen, and best use of energy for daily living activities.

Although the clubs are independently facilitated, the American Lung Association of North Carolina provides materials, speakers, and information on scientific advances in the treatment of lung disease. Questions regarding a club should be directed to the club contact.   If a regular meeting day falls on or near a holiday, please call the phone number listed to confirm the schedule.
