State Legislated on Tobacco Issues
SLATI (State Legislated Actions on Tobacco Issues) is the only publication of its kind in the area of tobacco control and has been published every year since 1988, exclusively, by the American Lung Association since 1996. SLATI remains the only up-to-date guide to all tobacco control laws in the 50 states and the District of Columbia including laws relating to smokefree air, tobacco taxes, youth access laws and funding for state tobacco prevention programs. Its evolution over the years has been marked by constant improvements in terms of content, range and analytical scope. The latest edition covers laws effective as of January 2, 2007, and is available in PDF format on the SLATI website. The website itself is an electronic version of SLATI, and is updated on a regular basis to reflect changes in state tobacco control laws occurring throughout the year.
