Where is the office located?
The office of the American Lung Association In North Carolina is located in Raleigh, at 3801 Lake Boone Trail, Suite 190. For directions, call (800) LUNG USA.

 

How can I have my name and/or address changed in your database?
To change your name or address in our database, or to be added or removed from our database, please send an e-mail to khill@lungva.org. Please let us know your name and address and the change you would like made. Because some changes are made at the national level, they may not be implemented for six to eight weeks after your request.


Smoking

 

Can the Lung Association help me quit smoking?
Absolutely! The American Lung Association has helped more than 1 million people quit smoking through our Freedom From Smoking® program. We also offer a free, online version of the program at www.ffsonline.org. Please visit the Quit Smoking section of our website for more information.


Lung Disease

 

Can I talk to someone about a specific lung-related problem?
Yes! Call the American Lung Association's Lung HelpLine, at (800) LUNG USA. The toll-free line is staffed by respiratory therapists and nurses who can provide answers to questions concerning smoking cessation, asthma and allergies, and physician referrals.

 

Can I get literature on a lung disease-related subject?
The American Lung Association offers brochures about a number of lung disease-related topics. Please call (410) 560-2120, ext. 239, to make a request.

How can I make a donation?
There are many ways to financially support the American Lung Association In North Carolina: Christmas Seals, tributes, events, bequests and trusts, special gifts, research endowment campaign, property donations, and matching gifts. Please visit our Donate section to learn more.

 

Where does the money go?
The American Lung Association In North Carolina is part of a regional organization called the American Lung Association of the Atlantic Coast. The regional organization serves communities in Maryland, Virginia and North Carolina.

Your donation funds the full mission of the American Lung Association of the Atlantic Coast. Your gift will fight lung disease by supporting programs that help people quit smoking, improve indoor and outdoor air quality, educate millions about asthma, and fund lung health research at top universities throughout the region.
